Simple baby feet birth sampler design

A friend of mine has had a lovely baby boy. So I designed this simple baby feet birth sampler.
I have also added a set of numbers for you to change the date of birth as you like. (I left it as zeros here because I designed this before the baby was even born)

If you want to make this pattern more ornate try finding a fancy alphabet to write the babies name in. Longer names will require you to put the names at the top and bottom of the feet or perhaps in backstitch lettering for a more delicate touch.

Heres a link to a whole stitches only fancy Alphabet I sketched out but feel free to use any you like the look of: http://buzybobbins.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/fancy-alphabet-cross-stitch-design.html

And of course if you want to change this design for a beautiful baby girl its as simple as changing the colours perhaps to one that will go with the decoration in the newborns nursery.

Birth samplers are sometimes a little daunting I have sometimes struggled to finish one before the baby arrived. So this time Im going for a nice simple one which I am guaranteed to finish before his first birthday.
